Thinking of adoption?

Adopting a dog is a wonderful thing, with infinite rewards. But it's not a decision to be made quickly or without a great deal of thought. Take time to consider . . .

- Am I ready to make the commitment of time that an adoption will demand? Daily time to walk and exercise the dog? To train and just plain love on a daily basis?

- Do I have kids I need to consider? And am I ready to help them learn the responsibilities that go with pet ownership?

- Do I have the space needed for the dog I am considering adopting?

- Can someone be home with the dog those first critical days as the dog adjusts to the new home?

- Do I have the resources to care for my new family member? To feed, groom, and oversee health needs?

- Have I considered the breed and temperament of the dog that will best fit in with my family?

If you are ready to adopt, and have taken time to think through these and other questions carefully, that's wonderful! Contact us to find out how you can meet Gerald's dogs, or when the next Dardanelle/Russelville Adoption Day is! You can also view and download our Adoption Contract (below).
